Ya Ḥalīm…

Ya Ḥalīm… When anger rises, make the heart slower than the tongue. When we are provoked, give us the strength to remain gentle. Let our silence become worship. Let our calm become protection. Let our hearts soften enough to soften the world around us. Ameen yā Rabb al-‘Ālamīn.
